RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCH-
ASE AND ACCEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL
PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property
for public purposes, to -wit: for the widening of South Janss
Street, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell
said hereinafter real property to the City of Anaheim for the
sum of One Dollar (0,00), and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it is for the benefit and best interest of the City of
Anaheim to accept said offer and purchase said real property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM that the offer of Robert M. Marshall and Agnes A.
Marshall, husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
A tract of land in Vineyard Lot G -6, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 4 of Deeds, pages 629
and 630, Records of Los Angeles County, said tract
being in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, and more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the northwesterly corner of land of
grantors, which point is the intersection of the
southerly line of West Santa Ana Street with the
present easterly line of South Janss Street; thence
N- 74 -30' -E along said southerly line of West
Santa Ana Street, a distance of 17.93 feet; thence

S-15 along a line parallel with and distant
uniformly 29 feet eastwardly from the monumented center
line of said South Janss Street, a distance of 248.84
feet to a point on the southerly line of property of
grantors; thence S- 74 32' -3Ou -fir, parallel with the
northerly line of West Water Street, a distance of
18.05 feet to the southwesterly corner of property
of grantors; thence Northwardly along the westerly
line of said property of grantors and along said
easterly line of South Janss Street, a distance of
248.83 feet to the point of beginning,
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim on this /0 day of August, 1948, and that the
City accept a conveyance of said real property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be and he
is hereby authorized to pay the owners of said real property,
17 out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One
18 ($1.00) Dollar.
19 The foregoing Resolution was approved and signed by me
