RESOLUTION NO. 1614
RESOLUTION DEDICATING STREETS FOR PUBLIC USE
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain real pro-
perty lying north of East La Palma Avenue between North Olive Street
and the East City Limit Line; and
WHEREAS, the public convenience and necessity require the open-
ing and extending of certain streets over and across said property;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires to
open and extend such streets over and across said property, for the
public benefit and convenience.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that it does hereby dedicate the following described
parcels of land, situated within said City -owned property,as streets
for public use:
PARCEL NO. 1. For the extension of Pauline Street.
A parcel of land in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,State
of California, including a portion of the SW* of the SEi of Section
3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian
and a portion of Lots 44 and 45 of the Schaffer- Oswald Subdivision
as shown on a map thereof filed in Book 7, Page 41, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, also including a portion of that
certain abandoned street formerly known as Julianna Street, lying
between said Lots 44 and 45 of the Schaffer Oswald Subdivision,said
parcel being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East City Limit Line of the City of
Anaheim,said point being 30 feet north of the monumented center line
of East La Palma Avenue and 816.79 feet East of the monumented cente'
line of North Olive Street; thence Northwardly along said East City
Limit Line a distance of 570.00 feet to a point; thence West 30 feet,
along a line parallel to the north line of said East La Palma Avenue,
to a point; thence Southwardly along a line parallel to said East

City Limit Line a distance of 570.00 feet to a point on said north
line of East La Palma Avenue; thence East along said north line of
East La Palma Avenue a distance of 30 feet to the point of beginning.
PARCEL NO. 2. For the extension of Sabina Street.
A parcel of land in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,State
of California, including a portion of the SW* of the SE* of Section
3, Township 4 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian
and a portion of Lots 35, 36, 37, 53 and 54 of the Schaffer- Oswald
Subdivision, as shown on a map thereof filed in Book 7, Page 41,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, also including a por-
tion of that.certain abandoned street formerly known as Julianne
Street, lying between Lo 35, 36, 37 and said Lots 53 and 54 of
said Schaffer Oswald Subdivision, said parcel being more particular)
described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of East La Palma Avenue,
said point being 30 feet north of the monumented center line of said
East La Palma Avenue and 346.57 feet East of the monumented center
line of North Olive Street; thence East along the north line of said
East La Palma Avenue a distance of 6o feet, to a point; thence Northr-
wardly along a line parallel to said monumented center line of North
Olive Street a distance of 570.00 feet to a point; thence West 6o
feet along a line parallel to said north line of East La Palma Avenue
to a point; thence Southwardly along a line parallel to said monu-
mented center line of North Olive Street a distance of 570.00 feet
to the point of beginning.
PARCEL NO. 3. For the extension of Julianna Street.
A parcel of land in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,State
of California, being a portion of Lots 29 to 44 inclusive, of the
Sohaffer- Oswald Subdivision as shown on a map thereof filed in Book
7, Page 41, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, and being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the East line of North Olive Street,

said point being 30 feet East of the monumented center line of said
North Olive Street and 66o.00 feet North of the monumented center
line of East La Palma Avenue; thence East along a line parallel to
said monumented center line of East La Palma Avenue, said line being
also the north line of said Schaffer Oswald Subdivision, a distance
of 754.95 feet to a point on the East City Limit Line of the City of
Anaheim; thence Southwardly along said East City Limit Line a dist-
ance of 60 feet, to a point; thence West along a line parallel to
said monumented center line of East La Palma Avenue a distance of
784.94 feet to a point on said east line of North Olive Street,said
point being 30.18 feet East of the monumented center line of said
North Olive Street; thence Northwardly along the east line of said
North Olive Street a distance of 6o feet to the point of beginning.
The North Olive Street referred to in all of the foregoing is
the Olive Street conveyed to the City of Anaheim by deed recorded
February 1, 1926, in Book 625 of Deeds, Page 367, Orange County
Records.
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed by me this 8th
day of June, 1948.

I, CHARLES E. GRIFFITH, City Clerk of the City of Anaheim, do
hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was passed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim,
held on the 8th day of June, 1948, by the following vote of the
members thereof:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pearson,Heying, Van Wagoner and Pace.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Boney.
AND I FURTHER CERTIFY that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim
approved and signed said Resolution on the 8th day of June, 1948.
