RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIY AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF CONTRACTS

CITY OF ANAHEIY FOR OFF-STRET PARKING FACILITIES.
TIFEREAS, en or7ant7ed program for the acquisition, improve-
ment, maintenance and operation of off-street parking facilities
fra7 he City of Anaheim has heretofore been a and
7 :THEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public
purposes, to-wit, for the purpose of acquiringanintintainin
said off-street parking facilities, and
HEREAS,.the owners of the said real property have offered
to sell the said real property to the City of Anaheim for the
considerations hereinafter set forth, and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has s special fund entitled
"PARKING MITIER FUND", which fund has accfted will continue to
accrue revenues derived from the parking meters in operation
within the said City of Anaheim; and
THEREAS, the interested merchants and property owners of the
City of Anaheim have made and are making contributions for off-
street rking facilities which will be added to the saidTarking
Ileter Fund", and
'PEREAS, the several owners of real property heretofore
mentioned are willing to agree that they will derive the payment
for their respective parcels of land from, and only from, the
said "Parkin 1eter Fund es end when it accrues, and that the
aforesaid owners of real property are willing to agree tnat the
obligation of payment under said contracts of purchaSe shall
never in any way be a cnare upon the General Fund of the said
City of Anaheim, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that
it is for the benefit and, hest interests of the City of Anaheim

to execute contracts for the purchase of said real property:
NOW, THERFFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF THE
CITY C ANAHEIM that the said City of Anaheim shall execute
contracts for the purchase of the following described real orope
from the respective owners thereof and for the respective prices
and on the terms as hereinafter et forth, and the Mayor end the
City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized and
directed to execute agreements for the purchase of real property
Fs follows, to-wit:
Parcel escribea ES: The Westerly 70.12 feet
of Lot 38 of the Original City Lots of Anaheim,
owned by Gilbert U. Kraemer, to be purchased for
the total price of -8,000.00;
unpaid balance the rate of five
to be paid annually.
Parcel 2.

upon execution of the contract, the balance to be
paid in annual installments of '2,000.0(, or more,
until the entire balance is paid, Interest on the

cent oer annum,
Described as: Lot 3 of the Oripjnal City
Lots of Anaheim, r,wned by Anna Thill, to be purchased
for the total price of i16,000.00; 5,000.00 payable
upon the execution of the contract, the balance to be
paid in annual installments of 4,000.00 or more
until the entire b lance is paid. Interest on the
unpaid balance et the rate of five per cent per annum,
to be :mid annually.
Parcel 3: Described Lot 70 of the Langenberger
Tract; Block E 5, owned by the Estate of F. H. Houck,
to be purchased for the total price of 1.0,000.00;
'2,000.00 payable upon the execution of the contract,
the balance to be paid in annual installments of 2,000.00
or more until the entire balance is paid. Interest on

Kock "B" in Center Tract, owned by Cortez TIoskins,
to be purchased for the total Price of

Parcel 4: Described re: The Southerly 82.5 feet of
Lot 28 of the OriEjnel City Lots of Anaheim, owned
by The Community industrial Land Company, to be
purchased for the total price of F5,775.00;
2,000.00 payable upon the execution of the contract,
the balance to be :paid in annual installments of
2,000.00 or more until the entire balance is paid.
Interest on the unpaid balance at the rste of five
per cent r annum, to be paid annually.
23 IETER FUND" of the City of Anaheim, such sums as are required

25 contracts and in accordance with this Resolution.
