PATTON, as owner of oertain real property situated at 1011 East Broadway, City of Anaheim, County of Orange State of California, has filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, a petition requesting that a variance be granted permitting the business of making covered buttons, buckles, buttonholes and doing hemstitching and the renting of sewing machines in the building located upon said premises; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and investigation of the facts, that: (1) Speoial circumstances and exceptional conditions do exist as to the above described real property that do not apply generally to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or district; (2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner; (3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property or improvements in the district wherein said property is located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are oomplied with: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same is hereby granted for six months to Alberta I. Patton whereby the business of making covered buttons, buckles, buttonholes, and doing hemstitohing, and the renting of sewing machines may be Conducted in the building located on said above desoribed real property, upon the following conditions: 1. That said business shall be operated in accordance with all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and Regulation of the City of Anaheim. That the appearance of said real property, including all buildings and improvements thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the uses herein permitted. 3. That the maintenance and operation of said business shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention. 4. That no signs or advertising of any kind whatsoever ahil be displayed in front of said residence. 5. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke said variance permit for good cause.
