RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, ALBERT JENKINS, as owner of certain real property
situated at 121 North Placentia Avenue in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, have filed with the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, a petition requesting
that a variance be granted permitting the remodeling of a build-
ing in the rear on said real property, which is now one rental,
to become a three unit rental; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts and the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that do not apply
generally tothe property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district;
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and
enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner;
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not
be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the property
or improvements in the district wherein said property is looated,
provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the same is
hereby granted to Albert Jenkins whereby the building on the
rear of said premises may be remodeled to become a three unit
rental, upon the following oonditiona:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordanoe with
all laws of the State of California and Ordinanoes and Regulations
of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the appearance of said real property, including all
buildings and improvement' thereon shall be kept and maintained
with a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the uses herein
permitted.
3. That the maintenance and operation of said rental unite
shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire preventio
4. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revok
said variance permit for good cause.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION 1s signed and approved by me this
day of 1948.
