A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM,
CALIFORNIA CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF A CITY JUDGE,
FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF SAID CITY JUDGE, AND FIXING THE
AMOUNT OF HIS BOND.
The City Councilmen of the City of Anaheim, California do resolve as
THAT WHEREAS, heretofore, to-wit on the 2nd day of February, 1948, at a
Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Anaheim, California on motion
duly made, seconded and carried, Leonard P. Bonnat was appointed to the office of
City Judge of the City of Anaheim, during the pleasure of the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anahei
that the appointment of the said Leonard P. Bonnat to the office of City Judge
of the City of Anaheim on the said 2nd day of February, 1948, be and the same is
hereby confirmed by this resolution and that the said Leonard P. Bonnat as such
City Judge shall enter upon and assume the duties as such City Judge on the 3rd
day of February, 1948, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of compensation to be paid by the
City of Anaheim to said City Judge shall be until the further order of the City
Council the sum of One- Hundred Eighty -five ($185.00) Dollars per month, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the amount of compensation to be paid by thel
City of Anaheim for clerical assistance in the City Court shall be until the further
order of the City Council the sum of One Hundred, Fifteen ($115.00) Dollars per
month, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said Leonard P. Bonnat be and he is
hereby required to give and furnish to the City of Anaheim, California, an officia
bond in the sum of Three Thousand ($3000.00) Dollars conditioned for the faithful
performance of his duties as such City Judge.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 10th day of February, 1948 at a regular meeting.

members thereof:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
And I further certify that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved
and signed said Resolution on the 10th day of February, 1948.
