A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY THAT CER~AIN FIRST AMEND-
MENT TO CONSULTANTS' AGREEMENT ENTERED INTO
BY AND BETWEEN THE PARTIES ON THE 22ND DAY
OF DECEMBER, 1970, RELATING TO THE "TOPICS
STUDY" .
WHEREAS, in connection with the Traffic Operations
Program to increase capacity and safety, the City did herein-
before enter into a Consultants' Agreement, dated December 22,
1970, by and between the parties thereto for the services
related therein; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the urban area
boundaries to coincide with the 1970 census data; and
WHEREAS, this adjustment will cause an expansion of
the scope of the "Topics Study" to include additional areas
within the new urban area limits and incur additional costs
therefor; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to continue to participate in the "Topics I' Program
covered by this study pursuant to Resolution 70R-602 of the
City of Anaheim, and to amend and expand the scope and cost
of said program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it authorize and it does hereby
authorize and direct the Mayor and the City Clerk of the City
of Anaheim to execute that certain Consultants' Agreement
heretofore approved as to form by the Office of the City Attorney.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby directed, to turn said first amendment to
Consultants' Agreement, as soon as it is execu~ed, over to the
Traffic Engineer for further processing.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by
me this 30th day of May , 19 72 .
