RESOLUTION NO. 72R-207
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT
NO. 123-A.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim pursuant to the recommenda-
tions of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim, adopted
a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim did hold a public hearing, upon due and proper notice,
and receive evidence, reports and testimony both oral and written
upon an amendment to said General Plan; and
WHEREAS, following said hearing, the Planning Commission
did duly adopt Resolution No. PC72-92, containing a report of
its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at said hearing
and a recommendation that said amendment to the General Plan,
designated as Amendment No. 123-A,be adopted by the City Council
changing the general description and extent of land uses in the
area consisting of approximately 652 acres located generally
South of Santa Ana Canyon Road between Anaheim Hills Road and
Weir Canyon and extending Southerly to approximately the ridge
line of the Santa Ana Mountains separating the cities of Anaheim
and Orange in accordance with Exhibits presented and on file in
the City Planning Division decreasing the densities from those
projected in General Plan Amendment No. 123 adopted by the
City Council pursuant to Resolution No. 71R-127; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 30th day of May,
1972, as the time and the City Council Chamber in the City Hall in
the City of Anaheim as the place for a public hearing upon said
proposed Amendment No. 123-A to the General Plan and did give
notice thereof in the manner and as provided by law; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public
hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such public
hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity
to be heard and did receive evidence and reports and did thereupon
consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission; and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 123-A to the General Plan, changing the general
description and extent of land uses in the area consisting of
approximately 652 acres located generally south of Santa Ana
Canyon Road between Anaheim Hills Road and Weir Canyon and
extending southerly to approximately the ridge line of the Santa
Ana Mountains separating the cities of Anaheim and Orange should
be approved in accordance with exhibits presented and on file
in the City Planning Division decreasing densities as recommended
by the City Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE I'r RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 123-A to the General Plan
changing the present general description and extent of land uses
in the area consisting of approximately 652 acres located
generally south of Santa Ana Canyon Road between Anaheim Hills
Road and Weir Canyon and extending southerly to approximately

of Anaheim and Orange in accordance with exhibits presented
and on file in the City Planning Division, decreasing the densities
according to the evidence presented and recommended by the City
Planning Commission, be and the same is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department
be and it is hereby instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Map to conform to General Plan Amendment
No. 123-A herein approved.
THE FORGOING RESOLUTION is approved ans signed by me
this 30th day of May, 1972.
