A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, GRANTING A LEASE FOR ONE YEAR
UPON REAL PROPERTY OWNED BY THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF SUCH LEASE AND PROVID-
ING FOR THE TERMS THEREOF.
WHEREAS, The Adjutant General of the State of California having
submitted to the City Council of the City of Anaheim an offer to
lease the hereinafter described real property belonging to the City
of Anaheim, for a term of one year at the annual rental of Six
Hundred Dollars ($600.00), payable as follows: The sum of Fifty
Dollars ($50.00) payable on or before the 31st day of July, 1947,
and the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) payable on or before the last
day of each succeeding month thereafter during the term of this leas
upon presentation by the Lessor on invoices in duplicate for each
payment; and
WHEREAS, it appearing to the City Council that the City of
Anaheim has no immediate need for the use of said property and that
it would be to the advantage of the City of Anaheim to accept said
offer and lease said property to said Adjutant General of the State
of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM that the offer of the Adjutant General of the State of
California to lease the hereinafter described real property for the
term of one year for an annual rental of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.0
payable as follows: The sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) payable on or
before the 31st day of July, 1947, and the sum of Fifty Dollars
($50.00) payable on or before the last day of a ych succeeding month
thereafter during the term of this lease, upon presentation by the
City of Anaheim (Lessor) of invoices in duplicate for each payment,
be, and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City Clerk be,
and they are hereby authorized to execute and deliver to said Ad-
jutant General of the State of California a written lease upon the

terms of rental and upon the conditions herein specified, leasing to
him the following described property:
Three rooms in the basement of the stage building of the Open
Air Auditorium in the City Park, near the center of Vineyard Lot
C -5 as per map recorded in Book 4 of Deeds, pages 629 and 630,
Records of Los Angeles County.
Subject to conditions, restrictions, easements, reservations
and rights of way of record.
ADOPTED this 14th day of October, 1947, at a regular meeting of
the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
