RESOLUTION NO. 72R-l94
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ESTABLISHING THE PEESPOR INSTALLA-
TION COSTS AND MAINTENANCE CHARGES FOR THE
POLICE DEPARTMENT BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM.

WHEREAS! the Police Facilities Building in the City
Anaheim has ma1ntained a burglar alarm system which connects
mesne private business concerns and City school buildings; and
WHEREAS, private alarms installed in business and
school facilities have been poorly installed and improperly
maintained resulting in numerous instances of malfunction and
misfeasance; and
WHEREAS, a new burglar alarm system has been installed
in the Police Department building because of the obsolescence of
the system, in order to continue to furnish burglar protection
in existing and new business and school facilities in the City;
and
WHEREAS, the City has incurred costs and charges for
the construction of this burglar alarm system; and
WHEREAS, the City does desire to defray the costs of
installation and service by shifting the burden thereof to those
industries and school districts benefitting thereby.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City, Council of
the City of Anaheim that the following fees and charges for the
installation costs and monthly maintenance fees for the burglar
alarm system in the Police Facilities Building shall be as
follows:
1. For the installation of a burglar alarm system
connection to the police facilities, a fee of $25.00
to be paid at the time of each subscriber installation
and connection;
2. For special surveillance of the emergency burglar
alarm system maintenance and administrative services,
a fee of $6.00 per month shall be paid for each such
installation.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved an~ signed by me
this 16th day of May, 1972.
