RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE
AtitREAS, Ysidro Y. Saucido, the owner of certain real
property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State
of California, located at 1018 Patt Street, has filed. with the
City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim a petition
requesting that a variance be granted permitting the use of a
small building on saJ.d premises as a shoe rekpair shop, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City Planning
Commission, at a meeting held on April 21, 1947, recommended
the granting of said application for such variance, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
inveetigation of the facts and the report and recommendations
of the City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that do not apply
generally to the property or classes of'use in the same zone or
district.
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation
and enjoyment of a substahtial property right of said petitioner.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will
not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the
property or improvements in the district wherein said property
is located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth. are
complied. with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM that a conditional variance be and the aame is
hereby granted to Ysidro Y. Saucido to use a small building on-
his premises at 1018 Patt Street, Anaheim, California, for the
operation of a shoe repair shop upon the following conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance
with all laws of the State of California and Ordinances and
regulations of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the appearance of said real property, including
all improvements thereon, shall be kept and maintained with a
satisfactory appearance in keeping with the use herein permitted,
3. That the maintenance and operation of said shoe repair
shop shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire
Department of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevention
4. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to
r4vo'e said variance permit for good cause.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
this 13th day of May 1947.
