RESOLUTION NO. 1537
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE AND AC-
CEPTING CONVEYANCE OF REAL PROPERTY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous
of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public
purposes, to -wit: for the purpose of widening East Water Street
in said City, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property have offered to sell said
hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim for the
sum of One Dollar ($1.00), and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it
is for the benefit and best interest of the City of Anaheim to accep
said offer and purchase said real property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM that the offer of Placid() Veyna and Mary F. Veyna,
husband and wife, to sell to the City of Anaheim the following
described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, and more particularly described as
follows:
ALL THAT REAL PROPERTY SITUATED IN the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described
as follows:
The southerly 21.75 feet of the westerly 140 feet
of the easterly 150 feet of Lot G -3 of Anaheim Vineyard
Lots as shown on a map recorded in Book 4, Pages 629 and
630 of Deeds, Records of Los Angeles County, California
be and the same is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim on this 8th day of April, 1947, and that the City accept
a conveyance of said real property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer be nad he

1 is hereby authorized to pay the owners of said real property,
2 out of General Funds of the City of Anaheim, the sum of One
3 ($1.00) Dollar.
4 The foregoing Resolution was approved and signed by me this
5 8th day of April, 1947.
