RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIAN'S
WHEREAS, PLACIDO VEYNA, the owner of certain real property
located at 559 South Olive Street, Anaheim, California, described
as
The Southerly 91.85 feet of the Westerly 140
feet of the Easterly 150 feet of Vineyard
Lot G-3,
has filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, a petition
requesting that a variance be granted permitting the operation
of the business of a retail grocery store, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and
investigation of the facts, and the report and recommendation of
the City Planning Commission that:
(1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that do not apply
generally to the property or classes of uses in the same zone or
district.
(2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and
enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will
not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the pro-
perty or improvements in the district wherein said property is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are
complied with.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, that a conditional variance be, and the
same ie hereby granted whereby the business of operating and con-
ducting a retail grocery store may be conducted upon the following
conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance
1 with all laws of the State of California and ordinances and
2 regulations of the City of Anaheim.
3 2. That the proposed store building be set back the same
4 distance as the dwelling, and that applicant deed the strip
5 for widening Water Street, the City to do the improvement work
6 on this strip, said strip being the south 21.75 feet of said
7 property.
8 3. That the appearance of said real property, including
9 all buildings and improvements thereon shall be kept and main
10 tained in a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the uses
11 herein permitted.
12 The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
