RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM SETTING ASIDE REVENUE DERIVED
FROM THE MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION OF PARKING
METERS FOR THE PURPOSE OF OFF STREET PARKING
LOTS
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore purchased and
installed parking meters upon and along certain streets in the
City of Anaheim and said parking meters are now in operation,and
WHEREAS, a certain portion of the revenue derived from
said parking meters is required to pay for said meters, and the
remaining revenue derived therefrom is available for the use of
the City of Anaheim for other municipal purposes, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be to the
advantage and best interests of the City of Anaheim to acquire
suitable lots within the City of Anaheim for the purpose of
establishing off- street parking lots, and
WHEREAS, such off street parking lots would be beneficial
to the City of Anaheim and residents thereof, and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be proper
and advantageous to the City of Anaheim to use the,net prooeeds
derived from the use and maintenance of parking meters to pay
the share of the City of Anaheim of the purchase prioe of lots
heretofore or hereafter purchased for off street parking lots
and areas;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY. OF ANAHEIM that, all, revenue derived
from the maintenance and operation of parking meters installed,
maintained, and operated in the City of Anaheim, except so much
thereof as may be necessary to complete.the payment of the
purchase price of said meters, be and the same is hereby set
aside for, and shall be used to pay the share of the City of
Anaheim of the purchase price on real property heretofore or
hereafter purchased for the purpose of establishing off- street

2 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said revenue be placed in a
3 separate fund to be known as the "Off- street Parking Lot Fund
4 and
5 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said funds be so used until
6 discontinued by resolution of the City Council of the City of
7 A naheim.
