RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE WHEREAS, Myrtle Clemmer, the owner of certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, located at 829 South Lemon Street, has filed with the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim a petition requesting that a variance be granted permitting the use of her garage at the rear of her residence at the above mentioned address, as a workshop for making metal and wood combination novelties, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the City Planning Commission, at a meeting held on January 20, 1947, recommended the granting of said application for suoh variance, and WHEREAS, the City Council finds from consideration and investigation of the facts and the report and recommendations of the City Planning Commission that: (1) Special circumstances and exceptional conditions do exist as to the above described real property that do not apply generally to the property or olasses of uses in the same zone or district. (2) That a variance is necessary for the preservation and enjoyment of a substantial property right of said petitioner. (3) That the granting of such conditional variance will not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the pro perty or improvements in the district wherein said property is located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are complied with. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that a conditional variance be and the same is hereby granted to Myrtle Clemmer to use her garage at the rear of her residence at 829 South Lemon Street, Anaheim, California, for a workshop for making metal and wood combination novelties upon the following conditions: 1. That said business be operated in accordance with all laws of the State of California and ordinances and regulations of the City of Anaheim. 2. That the appearance of waid real property, including all buildings and improvements thereon shall be kept and maintained with a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the use therein permitted. 3. That the maintenance and operation of said workshop shall comply with all requirements of the Chief of the Fire Department of the City of Anaheim as to safety and fire prevent- ion. 4. That uo signs shall be erected upon said property. 5. That the City Council hereby reserves the right to revoke said variance permit for good cause.
