RESOLUTION NO. 5 62
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE BALE
OF REAL PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION
OF A CONVEYANCE THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of hereinafter
described real property, and
WHEREAS, certain real property is no longer needed for
municipal purposes, and
WHEREAS, Albert H. Steffens, a single man, has made
an offer to purchase said real property for the sum of Sixteen
Hundred ($1,600.00) Dollars, cash, and has deposited with the
City Clerk the sum of Five Hundred ($500.00) Dollars, the
balance of said consideration to be paid upon execution and
delivery of a deed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
finds that it is for the benefit, advantage and best interest
of the City of Anaheim to accept said offer and sell and convey
said real property to the said Albert H. Steffens;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that the offer of Sixteen Hundred ($1,600.00)
Dollars of Albert H. Steffens for the purchase of the hereinafter
described real property be acoepted, and the Mayor and the City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim be and they are hereby authorized,
upon receipt of the full purchase price of Sixteen Hundred
($1,600.00) Dollars, to execute and deliver to Albert H. Steffens,
a single man, a good and sufficient deed conveying to him the
following described real property situated in the City of
Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more particu-
larly described as follows, to -wit:
A traot of land in the City of Anaheii, County of
Orange, State of California, including a portion of the

SWW of the SE* of Section 3, Township 4 South, Range 10
West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian and a portion of
Lots 54, 55 and 56, of the Schaffer Oswald Subdivision
as shown on a map thereof filed in Book 7, page 41,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Oriie County, said tract of
land being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the north line of East
La Palma Avenue, said point being 30 feet north of the
monumented center line of said East La Palma Avenue and
346.87 feet East of the cnumented center line of North
Olive Street; thence Northwardly along a line parallel to
the monumented center line of said North Olive Street a
distance of 201.67 feet to a point, said point being the
true point of beginning; thence continuing Northwardly
along a line parallel to said monumented center line of
North Olive Street a distance of 184.17 feet to a point;
thence West along a line parallel to said north line of
said East La Palma Avenue a distance of 116.69 feet to a
point; thence Southwardly along a line parallel to said
monumented center line of North Olive Street a distance
of 184.17 feet to a point; thence East along a line
parallel to said north line of East La Palma Avenue a
distance of 116.69 feet to the point of beginning,
containing an area of 0.48 acres, more or less.
The North Olive Street referred to in the above
description is the Olive Street conveyed to the City of
Anaheim by deed recorded February 1, 1926, in Book 625
of Deeds, page 367, Orange County Records.

AYES: COUNCILMEN: Pearson, Van Wagoner, Honey, Heying
and Pace.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
