RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 165

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF AJ.'iAHEI!Il DIRECTING ACTION TO BE TAKEN WITH
FUNDS APPORTIONED TO CITY FROM FEDERAL TOPICS
PROGRAM.
WrlEREAS, there exists a Federal Topics Program dealing
with street and highway safety and improvement; and
WHEREAS, a State Topics Advisory Committee, in conjunc-
tion with the State Department of Public Works has made recom-
mendations resulting in the apportionment of $109,526.00 to the
City of Anaheim as its share of the federal topics funds for the
1971-1972 fiscal year and of $109,526.00 as its share in the
federal topics funds for the 1972-1973 fiscal year; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires
to make use of said funds and to therefore inform the State
Department of Public Works of the action it intends to take.
HOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the aforementioned funds shall be
expended by the City of &~ahei'~ for purposes of a study regarding
streets and traffic for improvement projects to correct problems
relating to capacity and movement of traffic, subject to all
requirements of the Federal Topics Program.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and signed by me
