72R-156 RESOLUTION NO" 72R-156 -^~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DENYING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NOo 1288 WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did receive a request for a Conditional Use Permit from A. L. and M. E. RIST, owners; DALE L. INGRAM, agent, to establish a 219-unit, three-story motel on the following described property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, to wit: The East 198.00 feet of the West 396.00 feet of the North 660.00 feet of that portion of the northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 3, Town- ship 4 South, Range 10 West, in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa Ana, City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, as said Section is shown on a map recorded in book 51, page 10 of Miscellaneous Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County, lying easterly of the easterly line of the land con- veyed to the California Central Railway Company by deeds recorded November 9, 1887, in book 327 page 220 and in Book 327, page 221 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California AND WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission did hold a public hearing at the City Hall in the City of Anaheim upon said request on Februar~ f' 1972 > notices of which said public hearing were u y given as required by law and the provisions of Title 18, Chapter 18.76 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and ----- WHEREAS, said Commission, after due inspectionf in- vestigation and studies made by itself and in its behalf and after due consideration of all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, did adopt its Resolution No. PC 72-21 n~ny;nq Conditional Use Permit No. 1288 ; and WHEREAS, thereafter, within twenty-two (22) days from the date of the adoption of said resolution, a written appeal was filed with the City Council protesting the action of the City Planning Commission in Q9RYlcrl said Conditional Use Permit and said appeal was set 0 public hearing on -1- ~ ,;1 1<; , 19 72 , at the City Ana ~J.m, and notices of such public hearing required by law and the provisions of Title the Anaheim Municipal Code; and Hall, in the City were duly given 18, Chapter 18.76 ......-.. of as of WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find, after careful consideration of the recommendations of the City Planning Commission and all evidence and reports offered at said hearing, that Conditional Use Permit No. 1288 should be denied.
