RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 152
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DETERMINING THE NECESSITY FOR, AND
DIRECTING THE ACQUISITION, BY EMINENT DOMAIN,
OF REAL PROPERTY FOR HIGHWAY EASEMENT AND
PUBLIC UTILITY PURPOSES.

for the following purposes, to wit:

highway easement and public
WHEHEAS, the City Council does find and determine that
public interest and necessity require the acquisition of all
that real property herein described, by the City of Anaheim for
highway easement and public utility purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT P~SOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that public interest and necessity require
the acquisition of the following described real property, to
wit:
An easement for road and public utility purposes over,
under and across the northerly 23 feet of the southerly
53 feet of the westerly 4 acres of the westerly 19 acres
of the easterly 29 acres of the South half of the South
half of the Southwest quarter of Section 1, Township 4
South, Range 10 West, S.B.B. & M.
For the purpose of this description, the centerline of
La Palma is assumed to be the southerly line of said
Southwest quarter of Section 1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council find, and
it does hereby find and determine, that public interest and
necessity require the acquisition of said property by the City
of Anaheim for the aforesaid purposes, and that the taking of the
property hereinabove described is necessary therefor, and that
the uses to "'lhich it is to be put are uses authorized by la\'l, and
the taking of said property is necessary to such uses.
AND BE n' FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council does
hereby authorize the acquisition of said property by the City of
Anaheim, and the City Attorney of the City of Anaheim is hereby
directed to institute an action in eminent domain for the acqui-
sition of the title to said property, and to perform and carry out
all of the necessary proceedings and steps incident to the acquisi-
tion of the title to said proper tv and obtaining inmediate
possession thereof.
THE FOREGOING P~SOLUTION is approved and signed by me
this 18th day of April , 1972.
