RESOLUTION NO. 72R- 117_
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF COpy OF
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE A PETITION
RELATING TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION
THEREOF, AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF SAID
PETITION. (Kathryn-Lindsay Annexation)
WHEREAS, on March 24, 1972, there was filed with the
City Clerk of the City of Anaheim an affidavit of publication
of a Notice of Intention to Circulate a Petition for the
Annexation of Inhabited Territory to the City of Anaheim under
the Annexation Act of 1931; and
WHEREAS, Section 35113 of the Government Code pro-
vides that the City Council may adopt a resolution Acknowledging
Receipt and Approving Circulation of Petition within fifteen
(15) days after the filing thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the City Council acknowledge, and
it does hereby acknowledge receipt of the notice, statement and
affidavit.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approve,
and it does hereby approve the circulation of a petition for
the annexation of that territory designated as "Kathryn-Lindsay
Annexation."
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is aooroved and signed by me
this 28th day of March, 1972.
