RECUT/( .TING A VARIANCE
WHEREAS, Harold J. Botts and o11ie A. Botts, the owners
of certain real oroperty loc at 705 West LaVerne, Anaheim,
California, consisting of a lot 92 feet by 200 feet in the
Koerner Tract, have filed with the City Planning Commission of
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, a
petition requesting that a variance be granten] permitting the
operation of t'ae lAisiness f retail nursery and garden supplies,
ana'
WHEREAS, the City Council finds from censideration and
investiE:ation of the facts that:
(1) Special circctaIiceE and exceptional conditions do
exist as to the above described real property that Co not apply
enerai1y to the prooerty or classes of uses in the Same zone or
district.
(2) That a variance is necessry for the oreservation
and enjoyment of a substantial roerty riLht•of said petitioner.
(3) That the granting of such conditional variance will
not be detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to the pro-
perty or improvements in the district wherein said property is
located, provided the conditions hereinafter set forth are
complied with,
NOW, THERFFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL CF
THE CITY 3F AYAHEIL.. that a conditional variance be, and the
came is hereby granted whereby the business of operating and con-
ducting a retail nursery for the production, sale and delivery of
plants, 'Hulbs, and the sale of garden seeds and supplies, and
the rental and sale of garden equipment and machines may be
conducted uoon the followin conditions:
1. That said business shall be operated in accordance
with all lcws of tne State of CLlifo nia and ordinances and

regulations of the City of Anaheim.
2. That the appearance of said real property including
all buildings and improvements thereon shall be kept and main—
tained with a satisfactory appearance in keeping with the use
herein permitted.
