WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is desirous of purchasing the hereinafter described real property for public purposes for the City of Anaheim; and WHEREAS, the owners of said real property have offered to sel the hereinafter described real property to the City of Anaheim for the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars ($1800.00); and WHEREAS, on the 8th day of October, 1946, at a regular meetin of the City Council on motion duly made, seconded and carried, said offer was accepted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT OF ANAHEIM, that the offer of Olin E. Darby and Edna L. Darby, his wife, and Richard M. Darby to sell to the City of Anaheim the following described real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, and more particularly des- cribed as follows: Commencing at the Northeasterly corner of Orig- inal Building Lot 26, as shown on a Map of Ana- heim, recorded in Book 4, pages 629 and 630 of Deeds, records of Los Angeles County, California, and running thence Westerly 30 feet; thence Southerly 180 feet, more or less, to the Southerly line of said Lot 26; thence Easterly 30 feet, and thence Northerly 180 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning, and being the Easterly 30 feet of said Lot 26. Excepting therefrom the Southerly 9 feet as con- veyed to the City of Anaheim for use as a public alley by deed recorded October 13th, 1910, in Book 181, page 356 of Deeds. heretofore accepted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim on the 8th day of October, 1946, be, and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed and that the City of Anaheim accepts a conveyance of said real property. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to pay to the 1 owners of said real property out of the general funds of the City of Anaheim the sum of Eighteen Hundred Dollars (441800.00). NOES: COUNCILMEN: None. ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None. And I further certify that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim signed and approved said Resolution on the 22nd day of October, 1946.
