RESOLUTION NO. 1465
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A SUPPLEMENTAL
AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ACTING BY
AND THROUGH THE FEDERAL PUBLIC HOUSING AUTHORITY AND THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL TEMPORARY HOUSING
PURSUANT TO TITLE V (AS AMENDED) OF LANHAM ACT.
WHEREAS the United States of America acting by the Commissioner
of the Federal Public Housing Authority and the City of Anaheim en-
tered into a contract on the 2nd day of April, 1946, to provide tem-
porary housing pursuant to Title V (as amended) of the Lanham Act,
said contract being No. HA(V- 4386)mph -1; and
WHEREAS the City of Anaheim desires that the number of dwelling
accommodations be increased from 30 dwelling units to 36 dwelling
units.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim that
(1) That the Mayor of the City of Anaheim be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to execute on behalf of the City of Anaheim
a supplemental contract in four counterparts amending the above num-
bered contract by changing the number of dwelling accommodations
mentioned in Section 1.01 thereof from 30 dwelling units to 36 dwell
ing units.
(2) That the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and
directed to impress the corporate seal of the City of Anaheim on each
copy of said four counterparts thereof and attest the same and for-
ward said four counterparts of said contract, together with three
certified copies of the extracts from the minutes of this meeting
showing the adoption of and containing this resolution to the Region1
al Office, Region VI, Federal Public Housing Authority.
(3) WHEREAS it is necessary for the immediate peace, health and
safety of the City of Anaheim that this resolution become immediately
operative, an Emergency is declared to exist, and this resolution
shall become effective and operative immediately upon its adoption
and approval by the City Council and the Mayor of the City of Anahei
this 30th day of April, 1946.
