WHEREAS, the members of the Executive Board of Orange
County Joint Outfall Sewer Agreement have forwarded to the City of
Anaheim a resolution outlining the present and future sanitation
requirements of Orange County and showing that the present sanita-
tion facilities are wholly inadequate to cope with such requirement,
and recommending that the Board of Supervisors of Orange County
employ a competent and experienced Sanitary Engineer to investigate
and report on the advisability and cost of the formation of a
sanitation system to include all or such portions of Orange County
as can be adequately served by such system;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim:
1. That it agrees with the sentiment expressed in said
Resolution;
2. That it hereby recommends to the Board of Supervisors
of Orange County that it employ a competent and experienced Sani-
tary Engineer to investigate and report on the advisability and
cost of the formation of a sanitation system to include all or
such portions of Orange County as can be adequately served by such
sustem;
3. That the City Clerk forward a copy of this Resolution
untosaid Board of Supervisors.
The foregoing Resolution is signed and approved by me
this llth day of December, 1945.
