A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM CHANGING
THE NAME OF A PORTION OF ROMNEYA
DRIVE TO ANAHEIM SHORES DRIVE
WHEREAS, Section 34091.1 of the Government Code
authorizes the legislative body of a City to adopt or change the
name of a City street; and
WHEREAS, Section 15.08.100 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
permits the City Council to change the name of a street if the
changed name conforms with the provisions of Chapter 15.08 of the
Anaheim Municipal Code and the Address and Street Name Master Plan
of the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the renaming of a portion of Romneya Drive
between La Palma Avenue and Coronet Avenue is hereby determined to
conform to Chapter 15.08 of the Anaheim Municipal Code and to the
Address and Street Name Master Plan of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the name of Romneya
Drive between La Palma Avenue and Coronet Avenue is hereby ordered
changed to Anaheim Shores Drive.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, ordered to forward a copy of this resolution to the
Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange as required by
Government Code Section 34092.
