RESOLUTION NO 1393
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND ADOPTING PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS AND WAGE
SCALE FOR FEDERAL WORKS AGENCY PROJECT NO. CALIF. 4- 657 -N, AND AU-
THORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE FOR BIDS.
WHEREAS, KOEBIG AND KOEBIG, Consulting Engineers, have present-
ed plans and specifications, including wage rate schedule, for the
reconstruction of portions of Section 3 of the Orange County Outfall
Sewer, which plans are marked and designated "Federal Works Agency,
Project No. Calif. 4- 657 -N, City of Anaheim, PLANS AND PROFILES OF
PORTIONS OF SECTION 3, ORANGE COUNTY OUTFALL SEWER, October 1944,
Orange County, California consisting of eight (g) sheets, and whic
said specifications are marked and designated "SPECIFICATIONS FOR
REPLACEMENT OF ORANGE COUNTY OUTFALL SEWER, SECTION NO. 3, UNITS 'A'
AND 'C', CITY OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, Federal Works Agency, Region
No. 7, Project California, 4- 657 -N, November, 1944"; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, as contracting city for said Sec-
tion 3 of said Orange County Outfall Sewer, also referred to in said
specifications as the "Owner desires to approve and adopt said pia s
and specifications, including said wage rate aehedule, and to proceei
with the advertising for bids for the construction of said project;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Anaheim, acting for said City in its capacity as Contracting City
and /or Ownerlof said Section 3 of said Orange County Outfall Sewer,
that said plans and specifications, including said wage rate schedule,
be and the same are hereby approved and adopted, and that the Mayor
and City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized to sign said plans
on behalf of the City; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to publish a notice of "Advertisement for
Bids" for the performance of the work shown in said plans and speci-
fications, which notice shall be published in the "Anaheim Bulletin"
by two insertions not less than five days apart.
The foregoing Resolution is approved and signed by me this 14th
day of November, 1944.
