A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CLERK OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA TO GIVE
A NOTICE TO WASTE WATER DISPOSAL COMPANY.
WHEREAS, the cities of Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton,
Orange and La Habra, and Placentia Sanitary District, Buena Park
Sanitary District and Garden Grove Sanitary District, during the
latter part of the year 1927 and the first part of the year 1928
entered into and signed an agreement with Waste Water Disposal
Company, a corporation, whereby said Waste Water Disposal Company
was permitted to discharge water into the sewer pipe line of said
cities and sanitary districts pursuant to certain conditions and
'according to the terms set forth in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, said cities and sanitary districts entered into
a Supplemental Agreement with said Waste Water Disposal Company,
which supplemental agreement is dated as of July 1, 1936, whereby
certain provisions of said agreement theretofore entered into were
changed, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
made an investigation as to the amount of sewage accumulating and
necessary to be discharged into said sewer pipe line by cities
and sanitary districts having a right to do so,
NOW THEREFORE,
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
said City Council does find that the
sewage accumulating and necessary to be discharged into said sewer
pipe line by cities and sanitary districts having a right to do
eo, requires and will require during the period of six months from
the date of the adoption of this resolution, and after said period
of six months, for its reception and transmission the said sewer
pipe line td such an extent as to exclude the use thereof by said
Waste Water Disposal Company, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the City of
Santa Ana be, and she is hereby instructed and directed to serve

upon said Waste Water Disposal Company, a six months written notice
informing and notifying said Waste Water Disposal Company that the
sewage accumulating and necessary to be discharged into said sewer
pipe line by cities and sanitary districts having a right to do so,
requires and will require within the period of six months after
such service, for its reception and transmission the sewer pipe
line to such an extent as to exclude the use thereof by said Waste
Water Disposal Company, and also notifying said Waste Water Dis-
posal Company that from and after six months from the date of
service of said notice upon it, that it shall not be permitted
to discharge any water into said sewer pipe line, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a certified copy of this
resolution be forwarded to the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
this 17th day of May, 1944.
