RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM DECLARING RE-
SULT OF A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD IN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM ON
TUESDAY, THE llth DAY OF APRIL, 1944.
WHEREAS, a general municipal election was held and conducted
in the City of Anaheim on Tuesday, the 11th day of April, 1944, as
required by law, and,
WHEREAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly and
legally given, that voting precincts were properly established for
the said election, that election officers were appointed, and elec-
tion supplies furnished, and that in all respects said election was
held and conducted, and the votes cast thereat received and canvasse
and returns thereof made and declared in the time, form and manner
as required by the laws of the State of California, governing elec-
tions in cities of the sixth class, and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of said City met at the chamber of
said City Council on Tuesday, the lgth day of April, 1944, to can-
vass the returns of said election, and install the newly elected
officers, and that said City Council did canvass the <saidc ;election
at said time, in the manner and form required by law, as a result of
which, the said City Council finds that the number of votes cast,
the names of the persons voted for, and other matters required by
law to be as hereinafter stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City do resolve as
follows:
That said regular municipal election was held and conducted
in the City of Anaheim on Tuesday, the llth day of April, 1944, at
the time, and in the form and manner, as required by law;
That there were eight voting precincts established for the
purpose of holding said election, consisting of a consolidati'on of
the regular election precincts established by order of the Board of
Supervisors for holding general state and county elections, as fol-
lows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that at said general municipal elec-

13 pose the constitutional oath of office, and have thenisubscribe
14 thereto, whereupon they shall be inducted into the office to which
15 they have been elected.
16 The foregoing resolution is approved, signed and attested
17 this 1Sth day of April, 1944.
