RESOLUTION OF THE CITY JCVNJIL OF THE CITY CF ALAHEI DECLARING
ALL WEEDS AND RANK GROWTH GROWING UPCU PUPLIC STREETS Alm VACANT
LOTS TO BE A NUISANCE
BE IT RESCLVED BY TF7 'CITY COUNCIL OF THE 'CITY OF ANAREP!:
that there are rowin upon various streets in the City of Anahei,
and vacant lote aC,jacent tc) strets certain weeds and rank
rowth, and that said lots in the City of Anaheim are hereby
declared to be a nuisance.
The Superintendent of Street of the City of Anaheim is
hereby authorized and directed to Live notice recuired by law to
the owner of said vacant lots and streets adjacent thereto to
remove the same, as recuired by law.
Said 3e of Streets 18 hereby author17ed and
directed upon the exDiration of a .)eriod of ten (1)) days after
notice as required by law, to remove any weeds and rank 7rowth
upon said lots or streets that have not been removed, and to
chare the same to the property adjacent to or the lots cleaned
by said Superintendent of Streets.
Upon removal, by said Superintendent of Streets of any of
said weeds or rank .growth, said. Superintendent of Streets shall
report to the City Council the location and description of any
property unon which said weeds or rank Growth have been removed,
and unless the cost thereof is pad by the owner of said lots,
parcel of land or the owner of lots and parcels o land adjacent
to said streets, the same shall become a lien upon said property.
The foregoinE resolution is approved and sined by me this
lAth day of March, 1944.
