RESOLUTION NO. 1364.
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE DISSOLUTION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE
COMMITTEE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE TREATMENT PLANT.
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1161, adopted March 5th,
1940, the City Council of the City.of Anaheim agreed to the
creation of a committee of five persons to be known as the "Ad-
ministrative Committee for the Construction of the Treatment Plant"
which committee was instructed to formulate plans for the construc-
tion of a treatment plant to be used by the parties to the Joint
Outfall Sewer Agreement of Orange County, and to estimate the cost
thereof, and was authorized in a ministerial and administrative
capacity to incur indebtedness and expend for the purpose of the
acquisition of such treatment plant of the type proposed thereby
a total sum not to exceed the amount of such estimated cost; and
WHEREAS, by said Resolution it was provided: "That the
powers of said Administrative Committee shall extend to such
construction only, and shall terminate when such plant is completed
and
WHEREAS, it appears that said Administrative Committee
for the Construction of the Treatment Plant has completed its work
by reason of the fact that said Treatment Plant contemplated by
said Resolution has been completed;
NOW THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby recommend to the other
parties to said Joint Outfall Sewer Agreement that said Administra-
tive Committee for the Construction of the Treatment Plant be
dissolved; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that it does hereby extend to the members of said
Administrative Committee its sincere thanks for the splendid
manner in which they performed their duties.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
