1943-1359RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM, THAT STATE FINANCIAL AID BE EXTENDED BY THE STATE OF CAL ORNIA TO THE CITY OF ANAHEIM FOR CIVILIAN DEFENSE PURPOSES IN ID CITY. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CI OF ANAHEIM, that said City Council approves and hereby authorizes ap ication for aid for Civilian Defense Purposes under provisions of Cha Statutes 1943, (A.B.1672), and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the estimated budget for Civilian De- fense for the City of Anaheim for the period commencing June 1, 1943 and ending May 31, 1944, as prepared by Beatrice M. Miller, City Auditor, be and the same is hereby approved; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Chas. A. Pearson, Mayor of the City of Anaheim and Chairman of the Anaheim Defense Council, be and he is hereby authorized and instructed to make application to the State Director of Finance to allocate to the City of Anaheim the sum of $1750.00 representing one-half of said estimated budget for the purpose of Civilian Defense for the City of Anaheim. The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this 23rd day of November, 1943.
