WHEREAS, R. W. McClellan and Blanche S. McClellan conveyed.
to the City of Ananeim, a nanicinal Corporation of the State of
California, by Grant Deed, dated June 22, 1943, EflOE recorded in
the Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California,
on June 25, 1943 in Book 1197, Page 213 of Official Records of
Orange County, California, a certain narcel .of Iona; and
WHEREAS, prior to said conveyance the said R. W. McClellan
and Blanche S. McClellan negotiated with said City of Anaheim and
also the City of Placentia, a Municipal Corporation of tne State
of California, for the sale of said lanO, and
WHEREAS, prior to scid conveyance, the city councils of
said respective cities informally agreed that all of said property
should be conveyed to said City of Anaheim, and that thereafter
a portion thereof should be conveyed by said City of Anaheim to
said City of Placentia; and
WHEREAS, the portion to be conveyed to said City of
Placentia has been nranerly identified by both of said cities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim, that in consideration of Four Hundoed Dollars
(#400.00) to be naid it by said City of Placentia, that it does
hereby grant, sell and convey unto said City of Placentia, all of
that real nroperty situated in the Rancho San Juan Cajon de Santa
Ana, County of OranFe, State of California, described as follows:
A tract of land in the Southwest corner of the Southeast
Quarter (SE*) of the Southwest ouarter (S10) of Section 7, Township
4 South, Range 9 West, S. B. 3. M.,more particularly described
as follows: Beginning at e noint on the west line of said South—
east ruarter (SE*) of the Southwest ouarter (SW*) of said Section
which point is on tne north line of South street and thirty (30)
feet north of the southwest corner of said Southeast quarter (SE*)

West along said west line of said Garden Grove Storm Water District
to its intersection with n aid. north line of sa1L South Street;
thence ':Vest to the roint of oeFinninv, and containing en area of
1.10 acres, more or less.
Subject to taxes for fiscal year 1943-1944, not yet
Payable.
Subject also to covenants, conditions, restrictions,
rights, rights of way, and easements of record; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Cl,pk of
the City of Anaheim be and they are hereby authorized and directed
on behalf of said City of Anaheim to sigh and execute,and affix
the seal of the City of Anaheim to,a Grant Deed, conveying the
above described real property to said City of Placentia; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to deliver said Grant Deed unto
said City of Placentia upon its delivering to said City of Anaheim
the sum of Four Hundred Dollars ($400.00).
The foregoing resolution is signed and annroved by me
