1943-13421 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: That the City Clerk of said City be and he is hereby authorized and directed to publish a notice by two insertions in the "Anaheim Bulletin," a newspaper of general circulation, published in said city, calling for sealed proposals for the furnishing to said City the following approximate quantities of capacitors and capacitor hangers, in accordance with "Specifications for Individual outdoor pole -type capacitor units and hangers, Series of 1943 City of Anaheim." ITEM I: 60 Capacitors. ITEM II: 15 4 unit hangers. Said proposals to be received up to eight o'clock P.M. of Tuesday, the 3rd day of August, 1943, at the office of the City Clerk. The City Council of said City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and parts of bids and to accept bids in whole or in part. Said bids sha.1 be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check for at least ten percent of the bid, payable to the City of Anaheim and the successful bidder or bidders will be required to furnish within ten days after award of contract, a surety bond payable to said city and subject to approval of said City Council, in an amount not less than fifty percent of the aggregate total amount of said contract, which bond shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of said contract. The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this 13th day of July, 1943.
