RESOLUTION NO. 1322
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING
ITS RESOLUTION NO. 1132 BY PROVIDING FOR A REDUCTION OF WATER
RATES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim is
desirous of encouraging the planting of Victory Gardens to in-
crease the food supply of the City; and
WHEREAS, said City Council believes that the proMt14
of such a program can be fostered by the establishment of a lower
water rate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that its Resolution No. 1132, adopted June 27,
1 939, as heretofore amended, be and the same is hereby amended in
the following particulars:
1. That the monthly water rate be and the same is
hereby fixed as follows:
First 750 cubic feet, $1.00
All water in excess of 750 cubic feet, S¢ per hundred cubic
feet.
2. That said rate shall become effective April 1, 1943,
and shall continue thereafter during the remainder of 1943, and
thereafter until changed by said Oity Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in all other respects said
Resolution No. 1132 as heretofore amended, shall remain in full
force and effect.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
this 2nd day of February, 1943.
