RESOLUTION NO. 1320
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM WITH
RESPECT TO ADMINISTRATION OF VICTORY AND OTHER WITHHOLDING TAXES
PROVIDED FOR IN 1942 REVENUE ACT AND ANY ACTS AMENDATORY THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
that the City Clerk is hereby authorized anti directed to deduct
and withhold from the wages or salary paid to each officer and
employee of the City of Anaheim the Victory Tax and other with-
holding taxes in such amount as is required by the Revenue Act of
1942 or any Acts amendatory thereto, and the City Auditor is
hereby authorized and directed to forward any and all such taxes
and withholdings to the United States Collector of Internal Revenue
in accordance with said. Act and any acts amendatory thereto; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said City Clerk is hereby
authorized and directed to make any and all reports to the Depart-
ment of Internal Revenue and to do all other acts required to
administer said Victory Tax and other withholding taxes as required
by said Revenue Act of 1942 and any Acts amendatory thereto.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me
this 12th day of January, 1943.
