RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM PLACING
PAYROLL ACCOUNT WITH SOUTHERN COUNTY BANK
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim'
that the Payroll ayroll Account of the City of Anaheim be placed with
the Southern County Bank of Anaheim, California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of
the City of Anaheim be authorized to open said account with said
bank upon terms agreeable to the laws of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all checks drawn upon said
account shall be jointly signed by the Mayor and City Clerk after
being authorized so to do by said City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in the absence of the City
Clerk that a Deputy City Clerk may sign such checks in the place
of said City Clerk and that in the absence of the Mayor that a
Mayor Pro -Tem appointed by said City Council shall sign such check
in the place of said Mayor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that that Payroll Account be
established not later than July 28, 1942, and that all payroll
demands be paid therefrom commencing with the July 1 1942,
payroll, and until further action of said City Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the present Payroll Account
with Anaheim Branch of Bank of America National Trust and Savings
Association be closed upon the payment of all checks therefrom
drawn up to and including Jay 14, 1942, payroll.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the provisions of Resolution
No. 1181 of said City Council, adopted April 23, 19 9, not
inconsistent with this Resolution, shall remain in full force and
effect.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me
this 7th day of July, 1942.
