RESOLUTION NO. 1 295
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM REPLACING PERSONS ON THE
ANAHEIM EMERGENCY RELIEF COMMITTEE CREATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 644 OF THE CITY COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, it is provided in Section 3 of Ordinance No. 644 of the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that the City Council may at any time remove any
person from the Emergency Relief Committee created by said Ordinance and replace
such person with another person and may at any time change the duties of any
committeemen, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has abolished certain of its committees and
created others in lieu thereof, and
WHEREAS, such change in committee structure necessitates the designatio
of committee duties to the Chairmen of newly established committees of said Council,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
1. That the Chairman of the Public Property Committee of said City
Council shall be in charge of general relief housing, bomb shelters, protection
and feeding of homeless victiaa of such emergency instead of the Chairman of the
Public Improvement Committee of the City Council, which latter committee has
been abolished.
2. That the Chairman of the Public Safety Committee of the City
Council shall have charge of all transportation equipment which may be required
instead of the Chairman of the Police and Fire Committee of the City Council,
which latter committee has been abolished.
3. That the Chairman of the Public Works Committee of the City
Council shall be in charge of reconstruction and rehabilitation instead of the
Chairman of the Ordinance Committee of the City Council, which latter committee
has been abolished.

of said City Council held on the 19th day of May, 1942, by the following vote;
AYES: COUNCILMEN, Pearson, Van Wagoner, Barnes, Boney and Sheridan.
NOES: COUNCILMEN, None
ABSENT AND NOT VOTING: COUNCILMEN, None
