CITY OF ANAHEIM AYES: COUNCILMEN NOES: COUNCILMEN, Seal of the City of An 4 RESOLUTION NO. 1283 WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows: Lot 15 in Block A of Tract No. 549, as shown on a Map recorded in Book 18, page 23 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California, acquired by deed from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California, and WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said property or any part thereof for public purposes, and said City Council finds that it is for the benefit and best interests of said City that the said prop- erty should be sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange, and WHEREAS, an offer of One Hundred Sixty -five Dollars (165.00) cash has been made for the purchase of said property by a private individual, to -wit: Lawrence Richard Macaray, a single man, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that it does hereby sell all of the above described real property unto the said Lawrence Richard Macaray, a single man, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized to make, ex- ecute and deliver unto said Lawrence Richard Macaray, a single man, the grant deed of the said City of Anaheim conveying said property to said Lawrence Richard Macaray. Croxton Boice; and WHEREAS, A. Croxton Boice faithfully served the people of Orarge as tEetrMayor during the years of 1936 to 1940; and. WHEREAS, he was a member of the Orange Ctt Council at the time of his demise; and. WHEREAS, A. Croxton Boice at all times tntaroted. himself in public and municipal affairs and contributed much valuable assistance t) the Orange County League of California Cities; and WHEREAS, the People of Orange County, and in particular their manic officers and employees will sorely miss the kindly and genial company of A. Croxton Boice, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anahe that it deeply mourns the untimely passing of A. Croxton Boice, and for its members and on behalf of the People of Anaheim it extends to his wife Tillie Boice, its deepest sympathy in her great bereavement; and B IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution be forwarded to Mrs. Boice.
