1941-1273WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain right, title and
interest in certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as Lot One (1) in Block "A" of St.
Catherine's Tract No, 423, as shown on a map recorded in Book 16, page 30,
Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said property or any
part thereof for public purposes, and said City Council finds that it is for
the benefit and best interests of said City that the said property should be
sold and conveyed into private ownership in order that the same may again be
placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange, and
WHEREAS, it is impractical for the City of Anaheim to initiate steps
to obtain a clear title to said property prior to one year from the date of
the Tax Collector's Deed, and that, following the final completion of title
in the City, said Council and City will be faced with the difficult task of
finding; a buyer willing to purchase said property, and
WHEREAS, an offer of One Hundred Fifteen Dollars (115.00) cash to-
gether with the agreement to surrender for cancellation by the City Treasurer
of all 1911 Improvement Act Bonds against said property has been made by
John Arthur Boege for the purchase of said property;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOD by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that it does hereby sell all of the right, title and interest of said
City of Anaheim in and to said real property unto the said John Arthur Boege,
and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized
to make, execute and deliver unto said John Arthur Boege, a deed of said
City of Anaheim granting to said John Arthur Boege, all of the right, title
and interest of said City of Anaheim in and to said real property for the
consideration above mentioned.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this 21st
day of October, 1941,
