1941-1268RESOLUTION NO. 12.6S RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that in accordance with the provisions of Section 1770 of the Labor Code of the State of Calif- ornia, said City Council has ascertained the general prevailing rate of homrly wages and rates for legal holiday and overtime work for each craft or type of laborer, workman or mechanic needed for the execution of public works contracts within said city, said prevailing rates so determined being as follows: Trade or Occupation Minimum hourly wage rate Asphalt mechanical finisher operator 1.25 Asphalt plant dryerman or fireman 1.00 Asphalt plant operator 1.10 Asphalt raker (hand) 1.00 Asphalt shoveller .75 Blacksmith 1.00 Blacksmith helper .75 Bricklayer 1,25 Bricklayer tender ,S75 Carpenter 1,10 Cement finisher 1.2 Chipping or Jack hammer operator .S75 Clam shell or Dragline operator (shovel type) 1.375 Compressor operator 1,10 Concrete mixer operator (except paving type) 1,00 Concrete pavement mechanical finisher operator 1.375 Concrete pavement mixer operator 1.375 Concrete worker .S0 Concrete vibrator operator .g75 Crane operator 1.375 Dragline operator 1.375 Electrician foreman 1.25 Electrician journeyman 1.10 Electrician helper PAGE 2. Properly indentured apprentices to any of the trades listed above may be employed uuon the project with skilled workmen subject to the orovisions of Section 1777.5 of the State Labor Code, the wage rate for such apprentices to be deter-lined as provided in caid section.
