RESOLUTION NO. 1267
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that
certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows: Lot 16 in
Block NAII of Tract No. 549, (Sycamore Square) as per map recorded
in Book 18, Page 23, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said
property or any part thereof for public purposes, and the City
Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit
and best interests of said City that said property should be sold
and conveyed unto private ownership, in order that the same may
again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the
County of Orange, and
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1263, adopted July 29,
1941, said City Council did offer said lot for sale, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 1263 Thomas
E. Harrison and Clarise Harrison, husband and wife, did purchase
said real property from the City of Anaheim for the sum of One
Hundred Seventy -six and 20 /100 0176.20) Dollars, as joint tenants,
they being the highest bidders for the same, and having complied
with all of the provisions of said Resolution No. 1263,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that it does hereby sell`all of the above
described real property unto the said Thomas E. Harrison and
Clarise Harrison, husband and wife, as joint tenants, and the
Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized
to make, execute and deliver to the said Thomas E. Harrison and
Clarice Harrison, Husband and wife, as joint tenants, a grant
deed of the City of Anaheim conveying said property to said
Thomas E. Harrison and Clarice Harrison, husband and wife, as
joint tenants.
