RESOLUTION NO. 1266
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that certai
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows: Lot 4 in Block 2 of
Tract No. 304 (Mills Park) as per map recorded in Book 14, Page
60, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said proper
or any part thereof for public purposes, and the City Council of
the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best
interests of said City that said property should be sold and
conveyed unto private ownership, in order that the same may again
be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the County
of Orange, and
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1263, adopted July 29,
1941, said City Council did offer said lot for sale, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 1263 H. C.
Head, a married man, did purchase said real property from the City
of Anaheim for the sum of One Hundred Fifty -five 0166.00) Dollars
together with the further consideration of his agreement to surren
to the City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim for his cancellation
of all outstanding 1911 Act Bonds and coupons being a lien upon
said property, he being the highest bidder for the same, and
having complied with all of the provisions of said Resolution
No. 1263,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that it does hereby sell all of the above
described real property unto the said H. C. Head, a married man,
and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby
authorized to make, execute and deliver to the said H. C. Head a
grant deed of said City of Anaheim conveying said property to said
H. C. Head.
