RESOLUTION NO. 124S
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLAN FOR SANTA ANA FREEWAY
WHEREAS, the California Highway Commission has declared that portion of
State Highway Route No. 174 lying between Euclid Avenue and the south city boundary
of the City of Anaheim to be a freeway; and
WHEREAS, a plan map for such freeway has heretofore been prepared show-
ing the route of such freeway and the provisions for closing or relocating certain
city streets and for carrying other city streets over or to a connection with such
freeway, said plan map being marked "VII ORA 174 ANA, STUDY NO. SD, SANTA ANA
FREEWAY, ANAHEIM, SCALE 1 °:200 APR. 19+1 and
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the State of California has
presented a form of agreement between the State and the City providing for the
improvement of such freeway, and the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
studied and is familiar with the contents of said agreement.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that said plan map be approved and that the mayor and city clerk be and they are
hereby authorized and directed to sign said agreement on behalf of said city.
ADOPTED this 29th day of April, 1941.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
passed by the City Council of the City of Anaheim at an adjourned regular meeting
thereof held April,29, 1941.
