RESOLUTION NO. 1246
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of certain right, title and
interest in certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
Orange, State of California, described as Lot 23 in "South Street Tract" as per
map recorded in Book g, Page g9 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County,
California, acquired by deed from the County Tax Collector of the County of Orange,
State of California, and
WHEREAS, said- City of Anaheim has no use for said property or any part
thereof for public purposes, and said City Council finds that it is for the benefit
and best interests of said City that the said proport;; s tiul:: be sold and conveyed
into private ownership in order that the same may again be placed upon the tax
rolls of the City of Anaheim and the County of Orange, and
WHEREAS, it is impractical for the City of Anaheim to initiate steps
to obtain a clear title to said property prior to one year from the date of the
Tax Collectorte Deed, and that, following the final completion of title in the
City, said Council and City will be faced with the difficult task of finding a
buyer willing to purchase said property, and
WHEREAS, an offer of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) has been made for the pur-
chase of said City's right, title and interest in said property by private in-
dividuals, to -wit: Arthur S. Osborn and Ellna Gertrude Osborn, husband and wife,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that it does hereby sell all of the right, title and interest of said City of
Anaheim in and to said real property unto the said Arthur S. Osborn and Ellna
Gertrude Osborn, husband and wife, and the Mayor and City Clerk of the City of
Anaheim are hereby authorized to make, execute and deliver unto said Arthur S.
Osborn and Ellna Gertrude Osborn, husband and wife, a deed of said City of Anaheim
granting to Arthur 5. Osborn and Ellna Gertrude Osborn, husband and wife, all of
the right, title and interest of said City of Anaheim in and to said real property,
the consideration being said $50.00.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me this 29th day cf
April, 1941.

NOES: COUNCILMEN, None.
ABSENT AND NOT VOTING: COUNCILMEN, None.
And. I further certify that the Mayor of the City of Anaheim approved
and signed said resolution on the 29th day of April, 1941.
