RESOLUTION NO. 1244
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that certain,
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, I
4 (State of California, described as follows: Lot 12 in Block 2
of Tract No. 304 (Mills Park) as per map recorded in Book 14,
Page 50, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California,
and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said propert
i';or any part thereof for public purposes, and the City Council of
the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit and best
interests of said City that said property should be sold and
conveyed unto private ownership, in order that the same may again
be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the County
of Orange, and
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1232, adopted March 25,
1941, said City Council did offer said lot for sale, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 1232 Margaret
S. Wright did purchase said real property from the City of Anaheim
for the such of Two Hundred Sixty -five ($265.00) Dollars, together
with the further consideration of her agreement to surrender to
the City Treasurer of the City of Anaheim for his cancellation of
all outstanding 1911 Act Bonds and coupons being a lien upon said
property, she being the highest bidder for the same, and having
complied with all of the provisions of said Resolution No. 1232,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that it does hereby sell all of the above
described real property unto the said Margaret S. Wright, and the
Mayor and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized
to make, execute and deliver to the said Margaret S. Wright a
grant deed of said City of Anaheim conveying said property to said
Margaret S. Wright.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me
!this 22nd day of April, 1941.
