RESOLUTION NO. 1243
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that
3 'certain real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of
4 1 0range, State of California, described as follows: Lot 14 in
5 Block HA" of Tract No. 549 as per map recorded in Book 18, Page 23
Maps, Records of Orange County, California, and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said
property or any part thereof for public purposes, and the City
Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit
and best interests of said City that said property should be sold
and conveyed unto private ownership, in order that the same may
again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the
County of Orange, and
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1232, adopted March 25,
!1941, said City Counoil did offer said lot for sale, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 1232, Lucille
Shaw Real did purchase said real property from the City of Anaheim
for the sum of One Hundred Seventy -six (31 ?6.00) Dollars, she
being the highest bidder for the same and having complied with
all of the provisions of said Resolution No. 1232, and
WHEREAS, the said Lucille Shaw Real and her husband
Arthur Real did in writing request the City of Anaheim to convey
said property to the said Arthur Real and Lucille Shaw Real,
husband and wife, as joint tenants,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM that it does hereby sell all of the above
described real property unto the said Arthur Real and Lucille Shaw
Real, husband and wife, as joint tenants, and the Mayor and City
Clerk of the City of Anaheim are hereby authorized to make,
execute and deliver unto the said Arthur Real and Lucille Shaw
Real, husband and wife, as joint tenants, a grant deed of said
City of Anaheim conveying said property to said Arthur Real and
