RESOLUTION NO. .12.1.4.__
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of that certaii
real property situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, described as follows: Lot 28 in Block D
of Lorelei Tract as per map recorded in Book 2, Page 144, Records
of Los Angeles County, California, acquired by deed from the
County Tax Collector of the County of Orange, State of California,
and
WHEREAS, said City of Anaheim has no use for said pro-
perty or any part thereof for public purposes, and the City
Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it is for the benefit
and best interests of said City that said property should be sold
and conveyed unto private ownership, in order that the same may
again be placed upon the tax rolls of the City of Anaheim and the
County of Orange, and
WHEREAS, by its Resolution No. 1232, adopted March 25,
1941, said City Council did offer said lot for sale, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said Resolution No. 1232 Fred
Clough did purchase said real property from the City of Anaheim
for the sum of Seventy -five ($75.00) Dollars, he being the highest
bidder for the same and having complied with all of the provisions
of said Resolution No. 1232,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM: that it does hereby sell all of the above
described real property unto the said Fred Clough, and the Mayor
and City Clerk of the City of Anaheim ate hereby authorized to
make, execute and deliver to the said Fred Clough a grant deed
of said City of Anaheim conveying said property to said Fred
Clough.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed by me
