RESOLUTION NO. /02/57
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO INVITE PROPOSALS
FOR FURNISHING CAPACITORS AND CAPACITOR HANGERS
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
That the City Clerk of said City be and he is hereby auth-
orized and directed to publish a notice by two insertions in the
a newspaper of general circulation, published
in said City, calling for sealed proposals for the furnishing to
said City the following approximate quantities of capacitors and
capacitor hangers, in accordance with "Specifications for individual
outdoor pole -type capacitor units and hangers, Second series of
1940 City of Anaheim."
ITEM T 36 Capacitors and 9 4 unit capacitor hangers for
Circuit E -4.
ITEM II 48 Capacitors and 12 4 unit capacitor hangers for
Circuits E-5, E -6 and W-2.
Said proposals to be received up to eight o'clock P.M. of
1'ridgr the 20th day of December 1940, at the office
of the City Clerk.
The City Council of said City reserves the right to reject
any and all bids and parts of bids and to accept bids in whole or
in parts. Said bids shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's
check for at least ten percent of the bid, payable to the City of
Anaheim and the successful bidder or bidders will be required to
furnish within ten days after award of contract, a surety bond
payable to said City and subject to the approval of said City
Council, in an amount not less than fifty percent of the aggregate
total amount of said contract, which bond shall be conditioned
upon the faithful performance of said contract.
The foregoing resolution is approved and signed this 34.6/
