RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF RENTAL CONTRACT WITH COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR
DISPOSAL OF COUNTY HOSPITAL SEWSXE THROUGH JOINT OUTFALL SEWER FROM AND AFTER
JANUARY 1ST, 19+0
WHEREAS, the City of Orange and the County of Orange have arrived at a
compromise settlement of a pending action for damages and an injunction arising
out of the past alleged unauthorized use of the Joint Outfall Sewer and City of
Orange lateral sewer pipeline, and
WHEREAS, as part of said settlement it has been proposed that the County
of Orange enter into a rental contract with the parties signatory to the Joint
Outfall Sewer agreement for use of said Joint Outfall Sewer from and after Jan—
uary 1st, 1940,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim
that said City of Anaheim does hereby approve and agree to the terms of said rent
al contract with the County of Orange, a copy of which is filed as of this date
inthe office of the Clerk and by this reference made part hereof, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver said contract on behalf of said
City of Anaheim.
The foregoing resolution is signed and approved by me this llth day of
June, 1940.
