RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY CLERK TO INVITE PROPOSALS
FOR FURNISHING CAST IRON PIPE AND FITTINGS
RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM:
That the City Clerk of said City be and he
is hereby authorized and directed to publish. a notice
by two insertions in the Orange County News, a news-
pa of general circulation, published in said City,
calling for sealed proposals for the furnishing to
said City of the following approximate quantities of
Cast Iron Pipe, Cast Iron Fittings and Valve Boxes
in accordance with "Specifications for Cast Iron
Ater Pipe, Series of 1940, City of Anaheim":
ITZT: I 1,800 lineal feet 12 pipe
ITEM II 4,700 pounds cast iron fittings.
ITEM III 40 screw Type, a 1..Istable valve
boxes.
Said proposals to be received up to
eight o'clock P.M. of Tuesday the 13th day of
February 1940, at the office of said City
Clerk. The City of Anaheim reserves the right to reject any and
all bids.
The foregoing resolution is approved and
signed this 23rd day of January 1940.
